Predator Quest® Riflescope 4.5-14x42mm is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 32.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great scope!! Ordered this scope through Cabela's for my Ruger American .22-250 Predator Model. Beautiful camouflage finish, easy to adjust and the E1 reticle is fantastic!!! Highly recommended!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All around optic I purchased this scope to replace a tactical style one for a Rem 700 Police Sniper Special. I use the rifle for more general purpose use so it could be used for hunting or steel targets or informal target shooting. This scope fit perfect as far as use and physical size. My base was a 1 piece 20MOA downward angle so I can get a bit more range out of the setup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great scope for the money I just received this scope yesterday. Very clear and I love the full field scopes. I bought my first Burris 4x12 back in 1978 I believe. Still have it and works just as good as it did when I bought it.This is my 3rd Burris scope. I do have a little complaint on the Predator Quest. The adjustment knobs are great but I am not sure about setting the zero. All my other scopes have either set screw or a screw on top of the turret to lock it in place. I guess the fiction of the ring will hold it?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great scope!!!! Bought a 4.2x14 to mount on my ruger GSR with an xs sight rail for Colorado hunting muley and just puts the hammer down on them at 250 to 300 yards with the help of my hot 308 loads!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great scope I bought this scope for my 6.5 Creedmore. Great scope for the price. Clear glass and I like the Ballistic-plex E1 reticle.
Date published: 2015-04-09
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product I bought this scope for my Weatherby Vanguard in 243 Win. Hand loaded 40 round of ammo. and headed to the range. Sighted in at 100 m and then at 200 m. Then I used the elevation calibrations at the 300 m gong and it was right on target. I had a good scope on the rifle before but I just like the Burris line of products. At 14 power the scope was very clear. I like the idea of the custom dials I can get for this scope; I will be ordering it soon.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I bought this scope a week ago and gave it the "Shake Down" today. I have it mounted on a .17HMR CZ 452-2E. with Leupold medium rings. The bolt clears the focus ring but snugly. Overall the scope did well with 1.2 MOA groups of five at 100 yards shooting at 1" black dots.. Resolution using the variable Parallax dial was great enough to see the individual .17" holes at 14X Magnification provided they were not bunched together. Zero was obtained within 20 rounds to within 1/4". There are three things that would prevent me from giving this scope the highest rating: (1) The anti-reflection screen that came only scope (not shown in the catalog AND which is said to screw-on but I cannot get off) reduces clarity, The Parallax dial suggests that this is a long distance scope being calibrated to 500 yards, I see no way this scope would differentiate prairie dogs at more than 200 yards) and (3) at 70 years of age I really don't appreciate cartoon eyes on my scope).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent scope I received this scope two days ago and mounted it and sighted it in today .I had no issues with the sight in and the clarity was great this is the fourth scope I have bought so far and your customer service is great I requested an ard for a old 2x7 scope I had and with in one day you have it on its way to me that just says it all !! thank you all for your great scopes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clear field of view The one thing I love most about this scope is the reticle. The reticle is so clean and crisp, and I love the windage marks. This scope is also very clear, everything seems to pop when you look through it. It handles well with recoil, I have it on a 308 right now. I wouldn't change anything about it and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Impressive Optic! This is my very first Burris Product and I was very anxious to receive it after ordering as I had plans to install it on a new Ruger Hawkeye 22-250 caliber rifle. That task has now been completed and with this setup, the predator population (i.e., Coyotes) is now being managed a little more effectively.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad right out of the box. I was unable to get this scope to sight in. I removed a cheaper scope from my AR(which was actually shooting dead on) and purchased this more expensive scope. I used the exact same mount. I didn't even remove the mount. I dropped this new scope in the same rings and was unable to get it sighted in.
Date published: 2019-11-06
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Performs better then expected I bought this scope for an upcoming hunt. My existing scope only had a cross hairs reticle. features the Ballistic reticle. The reticle rapidly compensates for wind, elevation out to 500 yards. This feature worked perfectly for me and I'm sure it will help in my next hunt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great scope I got a chance to use my new scope this weekend and could not be happier. The sight picture is sharp and clear. It easy to sight in and has held true through the 15 rounds I put through my 308. This is my first Burris scope and so far I am very happy with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful scope for the money. I bought this a week ago and put it on a 6.5 creedmore and I could not have chosen a better scope. It zeroed right away and has performs amazingly. Three shot 1/2 inch group at 200 yards. I will purchase more of these for other rifles.
Date published: 2016-07-17
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Glass Excellent glass for the price. Would have been 5 stars but these do not come with any kind of cover. Kind of surprised me.

This scope is 51.5mm objective diameter. What does it me when it says clear objective lens diameter is 42mm ?

Asked by: Bigmc420
The larger number is the outside of the metal tube. It's the largest point on the scope (most scopes), and helps people understand exactly how high their rings/mount need to be. The objective lens number is the size of the glass lens. The difference is the thickness of the metal, the glass mounting seal, etc.

hi how hard is it to use the wind adjustments? Thanks

Asked by: codyw5
Hi! We're not sure if you're asking about the windage dial, or about the reticle/cross hair marks. The dial is capped, like most hunting scopes. It's designed to be primarily used when you zero your scope at the range. The reticle has dots that spread out from the center line. They're designed to help you determine how far to hold off, based on the distance you're shooting. They are great reference points that will help you quickly make better targeting decisions in the field. But they're just reference points. Like with any scope, you need to spend some time learning how it works with your rifle and your rounds. Once you've done that, they are super easy!
