Would this scope work as well on M1A Scout Rifle?  Was wanting a long eye relief scope, but would like more magnification than the Scout Scope. Thanks

Asked by: Halon Shooter
It could be possible to get this to work using a cantilevered scope ring/mount and the rifle's scout rail. However this could lead to potential ejection issues if the scope hangs over the receiver too much.

I'm considering a purchase of a new handgun scope for my 460 Smith and Wesson. I've read that several people have had problems with the scopes not being able to handle the heavy recoil. I'm wondering if this problem has been fixed

Asked by: Aws6275
I mounted mine on a Smith & Wesson Performance center XVR 460 15 inch barrel. I've sent back 2 times. This time I was told it can't be fixed. I shot 1 box each time before it broke. I love the scope but they don't make it any more.

I'm looking at the 200298 scope but the specs has conflicting info on the site. I'm wanting the ballistic plex reticle with the nickle finish. Also wondering what the finish is. Thank you

Asked by: Adam Peterson
We do not offer a handgun scope with both nickle finish *and* a ballistic plex reticle. #200298 is Nickel finish with a Plex reticle. #200279 would be Matte black with a Ballistic Plex reticle.

Can I get this scope with ballistic plex in nickel finish? Cabela's and Midway only have it with plex.

Asked by: Bigfoot
Unfortunately, the Handgun scope is not available with both Ballistic Plex and a nickel finish. If you like, a Plex-equipped Nickel-finish Handgun scope could be fitted with a Ballistic Plex reticle for $60 at our facility.

I bought your silver 2-7X32mm handgun scope and intend to mount it on a Ruger Takedown Charger .22LR that has a factory Picatinney rail attached to the receiver. What rings would you recommend for my application? Thank You, Ken Niederer

Asked by: Kenneth
The rail that comes with the Ruger 10-22 series firearms is of a combination design that will allow all of our Zee or Rimfire/Airgun rings to be attached to it. Medium height should be fine

Can I use a 2X7 hand gun scope on a M1A scout rifle?

Asked by: oldnewbe
That all depends on where the mounting rail is positioned. If your base is positioned so that you can get enough eye relief on the scope then you shouldn't have any problems.

I'm looking at 2x20 pistol scope and don't understand the eye relief; 10-24".  It's a fixed power scope so why would the eye relief not be a fixed distance?

Asked by: dwheatl1
The 2x20 scope has a range of eye relief from 10"-24". Anywhere in this range will have a clear field of view.

Burris 2-7 scope w/posi lock. Can't get adjusted. Looking for manual, can't find on your website. Wonder if I don't know how to use the posi lock. Where is the manual. If I can't get it figured out, can I send it back for you to look at/fix?

Asked by: kenrose
The posi lock is simply a set screw under a cap. Remove the cap, and loosen the posi lock with a screwdriver. Then, once you're all set and zeroed in, tighten the posi lock and replace the cap.

I have a .44 mag barrel coming for my Thompson/Center Encore pistol and what to get one of your 2X20 handgun scopes. Can you supply the correct mounts to use?  Thompson/Center's  item number  is 07121528.  Thanks.

Asked by: Mooning Duck
That barrel should be coming with a Weaver mount, so our Signature Zee rings or Xtreme Tactical in medium height should work great.
