Handgun Scope 3-12x32mm is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 80.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Had a problem with the eyepiece I bought this brand new in the box. When I opened it up and tried to adjust the eyepiece to focus on the retical it wouldn't move. I noticed a lot of exposed threads and assumed it had been backed all the way out and was stuck there. Not wanting to force it, I sent it back to Burris for repair or replacement. I'll update this rating based on the results. I currently own 3 other Burris optics and they are stellar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I replaced my Burris Scout Scope I replaced my Burris Scout Scope with this one because of the higher magnification and it works great. I have a much better view of my target now and I'm glad they came out with this more powerful model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works like it should I have only shot a box of shells with it. I have it on a 6.5 that has stout recoil , so far holding zero well and clear glass. At first I wasnt sure bout the fine plex , I thought a heavier plex would be faster to aim, but as I use, it I have decided with a scope this size the fine crosshairs make it faster to find the target ,doesnt block it out, I am very pleased at this point

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very clear glass, durable, easy to use I have 6 of these, in 3x12 and 2x7. Each one had served me well. I have the 3x12 BP's on my longer range XP100's. After running the velocity of the specific handgun, I use the Burris Ballistic program and get my drops on the ballistic lines. Record them on a card, go shoot at those distances to verify and then hunt. Great scope. Never had one fail.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Eye Relief The eye relief is very good and is able to hold the gun to the side when hunting,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much better than most I’ve used I am part of a group of four that shoot S&W 41’s at a local range. I’ve used dot sights on my 7” barrel until we started shooting at 3/4” dots at 25 yards. I put this scope on my 41 and first noticed it’s light transmission was great throughout the zoom range. Now I’ll start punching these tiny dots with my friends. Couldn’t be happier!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from disappointed at present Product seems defective new out of the box. This is contrary my experience with other Burris optics, of which I have 3 examples. I have messaged customer service and am waiting a reply. I have every confidence that Burris will make things right, but this was not a good start.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Purchase of new Burris Handgun Scope Model 200298 I purchased this particular scope after reading various reviews on available handgun scopes for a Magnum 44 revolver. I must say to date I have had no problems and am very happy with the price, clarity and variable performance of this optic.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 2-7x32 I bought this scope a month ago got it on bore sighted it and you can’t hit anything try to pull the target up and the scope becomes a peep sight adjusted the eye relief nothing goi g to take this off and get something better

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality scope I recently purchased the scope to mount on a hunting pistol. The overall brightness & clarity is readily obvious when you pick the scope up. Although I have yet to use it on the pistol, I don't anticipate any issues.
Date published: 2015-11-04
Rated 3 out of 5 by from This is a replacement for a defective scope. The first scope withstood 30 shots from a Ruger Blackhak 44 rem mag. I didn't get a chance to sight in the pistol yet . Hope the replacement is better than the first one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clear optics Clear optics, all moving parts move smoothly, excellent reticle, nice anti glare finish, only disappointment was not being made in the USA as are all my other Burris pistol scopes, time will tell if it's as well made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Confused, Not Repaired I sent my Burris 2 1/2x-7X to Burris Warranty Repair because after 10 years of using it, I took it out of the case one day and was not able to bring the sight picture back closer than 12 inches from my eye to sight it in. It appears as though you were looking at it backwards. I just received it back and it states that it was re-centered, recoiled, and fog tested. SCOPE IS AN LER OR LONG EYE RELIEF USED FOR SCOUT MOUNT OR PISTOL APPLICATIONS. Okay, I'm aware of that however, something changed and you can no longer bring the sight picture closer than about 12 inches from your eye and have any clarity. Something changed. This was my fathers scope mounted on a TC 223, I have fired it so many times on so many different occasions. Something changed in the ability to bring the sight picture closer for seated/supported firing than holding it out a foot away at the firing table. Very happy with the turn around time, however not so happy with the turn around result they did not correct the problem with the sight picture. My ratings on this product are from the first 10 years of use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I'm very pleased with the clarity of this scope. I'm still struggling with the eye relief. Over all it's every bit as good as all the other Burris products I've relied on.

All products are covered by the Forever Warranty. As for which red dot, that depends highly on personal preference. It seems you selected a scope. I would recommend a Fastfire red dot.

I have a Burris 2-7X32mm scope mounted on my .41 S&W. Had it done in a gun shop The eye relief is good 2-4 power, but if I turn it up to 7, I must move the scope closer to my eye to see clearly. Is this normal, or does the scope need to be moved farer b

Asked by: Firewalker
It sounds like the gun shop did not mount your scope correctly. You need to set eye relief at the highest power in order for it to be usable at all ranges. This goes for all scopes, but this is exacerbated by long eye relief (LER) scopes. At max power, also set your reticle focus. This is done by turning the diopter ring closest to your eye. I recommend setting that against a neutral colored plain background.

There appears to be an increasing accumulation of dark flecks that are on the inside of the lenses of the scope, as I have tried cleaning the outside to no effect. This scope was on a used rifle I bought about 14 or 15 years ago. Is this common?
