Ecommerce Sales Manager

Burris Company Inc is looking for an eCommerce Sales Manager. This person will drive brand awareness, promote and market Burris and Steiner through eCommerce channels focusing on Amazon and other key online retailers. Monitor, update, and ensure visual and content integrity for all Burris and Steiner product listings and pricing. Drive sales growth and maintain brand identity and standards in the online space.

Manage all aspects of brand sales on Amazon. Responsible for achievement of annual budgeted Amazon sales and margin targets including ownership of AMS/DSP marketing investments and negotiated rebates and allowances.

Manages relationships with key Amazon personnel and outside contractors
 
Analyzes daily analytics from Amazon Vendor Central to guide the development of merchandising strategies
 
Executes and reviews AMS/DSP campaigns and adjusts budgets or sets new campaign parameters based on metrics provided by Amazon
 
Assists in the creation, optimization and execution of digital content on Amazon, including, but not limited to A+ content, product images both hero and enhanced, product videos, display advertising content, product descriptions and keywords
 
Develops quarterly and season promotional calendar for Amazon including, but not limited to promotional discounts and submissions
 
Works closely with internal sales team to develop invoice pricing for all new and existing product listings
 
Ensures compliance with all Amazon packaging, shipping and order management requirements
 
Develop promotions, giveaways or contests that promote Burris & Steiner and build enthusiasm for both brands.
 

Collaborate in the development of marketing and new product launches in the online channels.
 

Manage the online direct-to-consumer sales. Responsible for achievement of annual budget of direct sales to the Burris and Steiner web store and microsites.
 

Manage the online customer experience and product content.
 

Evaluate existing KPIs, historical analytics, and industry data to formulate a comprehensive operational plan to drive revenue, conversion, retention, AOV, etc.
 

Ensure timely and accurate updates of new product content.
 

Maintain and update the sites with approved promotions, product content, pricing, and inventory.
 

Manage third party tools, vendors, and plugins including our Ballistic Services.
 

The ideal candidate will have the following:

· Bachelors Degree in Marketing, eCommerce, Public Relations or equivalent degree. Intermediate writing skills for advertising and product copy

· 2+ Years of experience managing Amazon relationship for a consumer goods company

· 2+ years of experience with online direct-to-consumer sales and website management

knowledge, skills and abilities:

· Strong understanding of Amazon vendor management including marketing, sales, and product management.

· Knowledge and experience in digital marketing and website management. Experience with Firearms and hunting experience preferred.

· Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

· Strong organizational skills and ability to think outside of the box required.

· Ability to travel locally (10%) and nationally (5%)

· Google Analytics and site KPI’s.

 

Director of Ecommerce

Burris Company Inc, located in Greeley, Colorado, is looking for a Director of eCommerce.

The Director of eCommerce manages the online brand presence and sales efforts for the Burris and Steiner brands. The focus is to drive brand awareness, promote and market the Burris & Steiner products through eCommerce channels and maintain brand identity standards in the online space.

Responsibilities includes strategic management of company website, Amazon listings and sales, and other key online retailers. This role will monitor, update, and ensure visual and content integrity for all Burris & Steiner product listings and pricing.

Manage all branded websites and storefront to drive brand awareness and online direct-to-consumer sales. Responsible for achievement of annual budget of direct sales to the Burris and Steiner web store and microsites.

- Identify, develop, coordinate and implement effective eCommerce marketing and communications activities in support of the brand communication and sales strategies

- Create a proactive online presence; identify and carry out new and creative online partnerships to expand our growing audience.

- Stay current on changes in the online marketing environment, to best serve the objectives of the organization.

8 or more years' experience in managing websites, digital marketing and online communications for a consumer goods business and/or interactive marketing or communications company.

Proven strategist with the ability to see the big picture as well as a fine level of detail.

Ability to mesh online activities with the strategic activities of other departments.

Track record of creating and executing plans to accomplish major goals.

Familiarity with firearms and riflescopes preferred or an interest in expanding personal knowledge of and exposure to the shooting sports industry.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to communicate persuasively and negotiate effectively.

Expert online computer knowledge, including websites, social media, analytics, blogs.

Experience creating effective analysis and strategic recommendations from analytics data.

Self-starter and quick learner.
