Returns and Refunds


The policies below apply ONLY to items sold directly through the Burris store.

Most Burris products are sold through our network of fantastic retailers, with many stores available in all parts of the US, globally, and online. If you buy a Burris product from any of these retailers, you will be able to use their policies for refunds, returns and shipping.

We ship to US addresses only. This online store can only ship to addresses in the fifty U.S. States. This is due to restrictions on firearm parts, shipping costs, and to distributor arrangements made with other companies.

Thank you shopping with Burris Optics. We are confident you will be happy with your purchase. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it to us for a full refund or an exchange. Please see below for more information on our return policy.


All returns must be postmarked within 30 days of the purchase date. All returned items must be in new and unused condition, with all original packaging materials with UPC attached & accessories. Items purchased as a package or with a free promotional item, all items must be returned including the promotional or free item. If clothing, must have original tags. We only accept returns for product purchased directly from and must be accompanied with a receipt.

Items purchased from other retailers must be returned to that retailer and are subject to their return policy.

To return an item, please email customer service at [email protected] to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. After receiving an RMA number, place the item securely in its original packaging, including a copy of your proof of purchase and the RMA form in the shipping box. Mail your return to the address provided with your RMA.

Please note, you will be responsible for all return shipping charges. We strongly recommend that you use a trackable method to mail your return and insure your shipment. Burris/Steiner is not responsible for packages lost, stolen, or damaged during shipping.


After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your return or exchange. Please allow at least 10 business days from the receipt of your item to process your return or exchange. Refunds may take 1-2 billing cycles to appear on your credit card statement, depending on your credit card company. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed.


The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Closeouts
  • Items marked “All Sales Are Final”
  • Promotional items that are part of a promotional offer must be returned with full order. Promotional items cannot be returned separately.

For defective or damaged products, please contact us customer service to arrange for warranty repair.
