Droptine™ Riflescope 3-9x40mm

Find a Dealer

3-9x is THE classic size for hunting scopes.

The Droptine family has two 3-9x models, this one with a 40mm objective end, and one with a 50mm.

There are two different models in this size:

  • #200017 has the focus set at 100 yards, and is matched for centerfire rifles.
  • #200019 has the focus set at just 50 yards, making it a great choice for .22 LR ammo.

The 3-9x40mm is compact and lightweight, with a nine times magnification that provides enough distance for most hunting situations.

The simple, rugged reticle has holdover for precise shots at extended ranges. The low-profile turret is finger-adjustable. A separate eyepiece and power ring allow for flip-up lens caps.

If anything happens, it’s covered by the Burris Forever Warranty™

Can I use my 200019 scope on a 308?

Asked by: Goodday
Yes they can really be used on any caliber you choose. The main difference you'll run into will be the parallax. For the Rimfire version it is set at 50 yards.

Just got a Burris Droptine 4.5-14x42mm for my franchi momentum 6.5 Creedmore. What base, rings, etc. do I need to mount? Thank you!

Asked by: Eriksj7
According to Franchi, they are currently shipping those with Weaver bases. If your rifle does not have those, I would recommend the XTB two piece base. The Momentum should share the same drill and tap pattern as the Remington 700. Item 410600 https://www.burrisoptics.com/mounting-systems/mounts-and-bases/xtreme-tactical-bases

Can I mount this scope on a m1a scout squad with the forward rail?

Asked by: Snark 302
This scope will not have sufficient eye relief to be used as a scout scope. We recommend using one of the scout scopes. https://www.burrisoptics.com/scopes/scout-riflescopes

Just purchased a Droptine (model #200019) for use on my Ruger 10/22 Barracuda target rifle. Which ring height set up do you recommend please? In case you aren't familiar with the Barracuda 10/22, there is a picatinny rail on the receiver.
