Guns & Ammo Reviews the New Burris Veracity Riflescope Lineup
The next generation of Burris Veracity riflescopes was built for hunters who demand premium optical performance, precise adjustments, and dependable performance in the field. But specifications only tell part of the story.
Guns & Ammo contributor Kenzie Fitzpatrick recently put the new Veracity lineup to the test, evaluating all three magnification ranges across multiple rifle and ammunition combinations.
Putting the New Veracity to the Test
The new Veracity family includes 2.5-12x42mm, 3-15x44mm, and 5-25x50mm configurations, giving hunters options ranging from a compact, versatile hunting optic to a higher-magnification setup for open country and longer distances.
During her testing, Fitzpatrick explored several of the updates Burris incorporated into the redesigned Veracity, including ED glass, new reticle options, R.E.D. (Rapid Engagement Design), and the new Knob Synergy System with its Pro Elevation Knob.
One feature in particular stood out during setup:
“I appreciate about this turret is how simple it was to reset to zero.”
But features on paper aren't the same as performance on a rifle. Fitzpatrick mounted the scopes, headed to the range, and put each configuration through real-world testing to see how the new Veracity performed.
Which configuration stood out? And what did she think of the redesigned Veracity after spending time behind the glass?
We’ll let her answer that.
