Signature HD Binoculars 8x42 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Whoa! Whoa! This is the response I got both times when I swapped binoculars with my friends. We wanted to compare each other’s binos while at the desert. Really sharp and clear. Came with lens caps that stay with the binos when it’s open and nice comfortable neck strap for the binoculars. Also came with a nice case that has a pocket and separate strap. When I bought the new Burris signature binocular, I could not find any reviews, so I am writing one to let people know.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Burris over Vortex I think Vortex has a corner on the market for the quality of optics you get versus the price you pay. That being said I'm overly excited to try these new 10x42 signature binoculars from Burris. When I say Vortex has a corner on the market, I am referring to my area and group of people I recreate and hunt with, if you're not Vortex, you're not doing it "right". Ive hunted with an 1100 dollar set of Vortex Razor binos and wow we're they impressive. But I borrowed those from a very trusting friend, my budget at the time didn't allow me to own a Vortex Razor bino but I reaped their glorious clarity and light absorbsion. I know there are better optics than Vortex Razors, I've used them also. I want to focus on that 1000 dollar ballpark of binoculars. So as I decided to roll the dice on these Burris 10x42 signature binos, against all the advice I heard to "just save up" for Vortex, I am beyond excited to say I could not be happier with my purchase. Out of the box, standard neck strap, carry case with shoulder strap, lens cloth and manual. Super easy to adjust focus properly, great fit and form. They don't feel really lightweight but I'm okay with that. The clarity is every bit of the Vortex Razors. I've glassed first light, dusk to pitch black and they are awesome. I don't know any of the technical aspects of Vortex vs Burris, but what I do know is I paid a third of the price for binoculars that are easily as good as binos that set ya back a grand. Thank you Burris and thank you Optics Planet for a good deal. I'm proud to be the one to break the mold of Vortex in my setting and show that Burris optics are top notch, deserving a spot in anybody's optics arsenal, without breaking the bank

the body of binocular is it magnesium or fiberglass

Asked by: howie
Fiber reinforced polymer. Super strong, not reactive to water or temperature, and way more dent resistant than metal.

Do these have the same CAT coating the Steiner predators have? I shot a match with sponsored shooter w/ Steiner Predators and it was the only glass in our squad you could watch the trace with through the binos. He said Burris probably had same coating?

Asked by: kyle307
They do not. That coating is specific to a few Steiner models.
