AR-1X™

Don’t miss a thing with both-eyes-open shooting. Push-button activation lets you choose between green, red, or black reticle settings. One lithium battery yields up to 5,000+ hours of service. The black reticle is etched onto the prism, so you can use the optic even without battery power.
Easy-to-see reticle hash marks offer trajectory compensation to 600 yards. Lens coatings are maximized for glare resistance and low-light operation, and the sight is night-vision compatible.
Its compact design leaves room on your rail for a flip-out AR-Tripler™.

The Combo Kit version includes the AR-1X, AR-Tripler, and Quick Detach AR-Pivot Ring.

The rugged construction of this close quarter battle (CQB) sight is the toughest you’ll find:

AR-1X™ is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 398.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from the acog you always wanted ever since i shot an ar with an acog i've wanted one, however i cannot afford the price, the 332 is the best piece of glass i could afford at the time and it is now one of the very few scopes i will never sell or get rid of. Great glass, i love the reticle, and that it can be lit with the green and red or left black. I did have one issue with the mount not being securely fastened to the scope, however some red locktite and i was in buisness. Although a heavy scope for being compact it has been very reliable at all times and weather conditions. I will always recommend this optic and the 5x model for anyone who wants quality, affordability, and performance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Optic! I purchased the Burris AR-332 about six months ago, I have it mounted on a Windham Weaponry MPC M4. Due to this being a 3-power optic, I choose to mount it to the detachable A3 carry handle so I would still have the stock iron sights should I need them. I've put approximately 600 rounds (.223 & 5.56) through the rifle since I added the AR-332 and I have been very happy with the overall quality of the optic and it's ability to hold "zero" since it's initial install. This is a high quality optic that allows you to engage in a CQB, yet still reach out a touch someone at 500 yards and at a great price to boot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Optic, I've had the Burris 536 optic for a few months now. I've been very pleased. Shooting Tannerite targets were a snap at 70 yards with a bunch of buddies. I was 2 hits for 3 shot while others wasted a lot of ammo. The real test was a bunch of pigs on the way to a stand during muzzle loader season. I brought the ML for deer and the AR because my son saw signs of pigs the day before. i took a 100# sow at about 40 yards as she was moving towards me. 3 shots to the head did the trick with cheap 55gr hard ball ammo. I'm looking forward to more pigs and a coyote hunt with the AR and the Burris 556.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works for my Sig 716! Was looking for a good optic for my Sig 716, went through many different choices but none satisfied me more than the burris AR-332. It is "drop capable" for the 308/7.62x51 ammunition .. so thats what made me go for it, and it has a lower cost than most competitors with the same type of features. took it to the range and was able to reapeativly put five round groups within 1.50 moa .... I do wish it had a lil bit larger reticle for those longer shots but It still does the job! Thank you Burris For a great optic!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Burris AR 3X Magnafier Before I bought this I sighted in my EoTECH 512 with no Magnafier. I had a hard time shooting a good group. After installing this on my SIG556xi, i used the magnafier to first bore sight my Red dot then continued using it to fine tune the adjustment. After I was finished, I was shooting 1.5" groups at 100 yards. I would like to address the mounting. I have heard these mount lose but if you read the manual you will see there is a wheel to adjust the mount for a perfect fit. Another complaint I have read is the thumb latch release dows not alwas function well if you don't ease it into the locking position. I hant eased my latch releas once and this performed flawlessly. Finaly I want to add the opics are very good and provide a wide FOV at 100 yards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice optic I purchased this about a month ago and like it very much. It is easy to install, zero and learn to use. I really like the fact that I don't have to turn it on to use it. You have a red or green lighted reticle in several brightness levels or if the battery is dead or you don't turn it on you are left with a black reticle which I find myself using much of the time. The image is very clear and the "Ballistic CQ" which is their name for the built in bullet drop compensator works very well. The only thing I would not rate a 5 star is the eye relief. You have only a 2 to 2 1/2 inch of eye relief. Not saying I can't live with it but would have liked to had another inch or so. I also added the FastFire III to the top rail and together they are a great combination. My eyes aren't as good as they use to be and just using a red dot at 100 or more yards wasn't cutting it. The 5 power magnification allows me to shoot much better groups at longer ranges.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Marines Perspective I learned to shoot with iron sight when I went through Marine Boot camp over 20 years ago. At 41 I realized that I there is nothing wrong with getting a little help from a scope. I chose the Burris because a friend of mine had one. The image is clean and crisp. The lens caps are good quality, and I love that you can choose red or green illumination. I took it to the range and was able to zero out of the box with only 10-15 rounds without a bore-siter. My shot groups at 100 yards were pretty tight. I would highly recommend this sight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works just as well as more expensive magnifiers. The AR Tripler is a nice addition to my rifle. It is sturdy, has a very clear sight picture & field of view. The quick detach is adjustable & mounts securely to the rail, so there is not any unwanted movement. It flips to the side just the right amount, enough to get out of the line of sight but, not so far to the side that it will be hit by ejected brass. The mount itself is small & does not take up much rail space so it can easily fit between the primary optic & a back up iron sight. I only have two criticisms of the optic. Flipping the magnifier to the side can be a little awkward since the ring mount is not spring loaded & I wish the eye relief was at least one inch longer. However, the overall quality can not be beat for the price compared to other magnifiers in this class.

What is the range of this scope and will it work with the Tripler or night vision?

Asked by: MikeCabot
Hello, There is no way to really assign a range to an optic. It comes down to the shooter, eyesight, targets, rifle, ammo, etc. It will not work with the tripler as it is already magnified. You should be able to use a night vision device with no problem.

I see your 536 is marketed for AR 15s, but was wondering if you had a similar style of product that is more suited for .308? I have a .308 "battle rifle" I'm not looking for sub 2 MOA, but would like to consistently hit steel at 400-600 yards.

Asked by: Inkedup
Yes it will work fine on a .308.

I’m trying to decide between the AR 332 and the 536 I can’t seem to find any information for the pros and cons of each? Trying to make an informed decision.

Asked by: Sprink
Hello, It really depends on personal preference. They only really deviate in magnification, which will in turn cause the 536 to be larger and slightly heavier. If you like, we are more than happy to talk shop. Give us a call at 888-440-0244!

I recently obtained an AR–1X. What is the proper way to turn the reticle on and off. I can’t get it to hold a specific brightness and simply turn it off. Do I really have to click it down five times to turn it off so it doesn’t kill the battery?
