Is this based off the Steiner M5Xi?

Asked by: Ajone96
It's a completely different scope. Designed from the ground up in Greeley.

Is 20 moa and 26 mil equal in elevation ?

Asked by: TEGG
One thing to make it easy to remember is that 1 mil = 10cm at 100 meters. Add 10cm per 100 additional meters. (Ex. 1 mil = 100cm or 1 meter at 1000 meters. Everything is based on 10. .1(one tenth of a mil the usual adjustment of one click on a mil radian scope) is equal to 1cm at 100 meters. Its much easier to calculate in my head than MOA, 1 inch at a hundred yards or True MOA 1.047 inches at 100 yards. Whatever you choose to go with make sure your reticle matches your adjustments. Mil reticle/ mil adjustments. Leupold used to put out Mark4 tactical scopes with a mil reticle and 1/4 MOA adjustments, not smart and a recipe for mistakes. Even if you're shooting a match with known distances in yards its easier to just convert it to meters before making any calculations. That's just my opinion.

Patiently awaiting the 3.3-18x50 scr2, your webpage under the xtr3 models states the objective to be 50mm or is it 56mm?

Asked by: Real Carlos Hathcock
Hello, The 3.3-15 has a 50mm objective, the 5.5-30 has a 56mm objective. We apologize for the confusion and are working to get the details corrected.

The SCR has 40 moa holdover.....How much holdover does the new SCR 2 reticle have?

Asked by: Kampfjager
Hello! For the SCR2 Mil, the reticle has 20 Mil (~72MOA). Being a First Focal Plane optic, you will lose some of that as you increase power. For example at 30X on the larger XTR III you can see down to 6 Mil (~21MOA), while at 10X you can see all 20Mil.
