Signature HD Range Spotting Scope is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing clarity So, since I’ve owned this spotting scope for a mere 2 days, I can say that the clarity while viewing Jupiter and it’s moons is amazing. I also found Saturn and could see the rings pretty well, even though I have a lot of light pollution. While I didn’t buy the spotting scope to view heavenly bodies, I can see the difference, quite vividly, compared to my $300 spotting scope. The craters on the moon stand out like its right there! So vivid and crisp. I’ve also scanned the side of a mountain during dusk lighting, and it is still very vivid and clear! Glad I made the choice over the Razor HD. The fine tune focus is a very handy feature. Build quality is amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Burris knocked it out of the park with this spotting scope. Very few other scopes under $2,000 come with reticle eyepieces, but this one does and it is a must have for calling corrections when shooting at distance. I also love the Fastfire attachment with this scope. I am literally on target within seconds of swapping my binos out and putting my spotter on the tri-pod. The edge to edge clarity and the light transmission is amazing through this scope. This is hands down one of the nicest spotting scopes on the market and easily the most feature packed and highest optic quality in its price point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than expected! Only had it a few days, but the image quality and fine focus is outstanding. The machining and fit are excellent. Really impressed. Also bought the 30mm eyepieces for both the MOA and MIL reticles and they are clear and precise - excellent quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spotting Scope This scope is the best scope I could find for my needs! I target shoot out to five hundred yards and my targets at that range are perfectly clear! I can see my shots on the target very well. I do not have to stop shooting and go to my target as many times as I did before. The focus adjustment on the scope was great, it did not move off of the target when you adjusted it. A lot of the other scopes I was looking at had stiff adjustments and moved off of the target when you tried to focus them. The warranty from Burris is great, focusing is easy, and the down range image is great! If you are hunting game or target shooting like me, this is a scope you should check out!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clear glass I've been using this spotter for a couple months for summer elk scouting and digiscoping. Its a super clear optic and really brings those elk up close to be able to see how those big bulls are growing. Its going to be great for next year's shed season!

Are there any plans for changes to the reticle or more options? I'd rather not have that much clutter in the middle.  For my application, moving the entire reticle down 20MOA or so would be ideal, and open up the center for unobstructed viewing.

Asked by: grantj
At this time there are no plans to add additional eyepieces to the spotter. We do however appreciate the feedback and have forwarded it to our product development.

After installing the burris fast fire 3 red dot onto the burris hd spotting scope. How do you zero in the red dot to be aligned with the spotting scope?

Asked by: Lomi8o8
Hello, If the Fastfire has not been used on something else you don't need to zero it as it is a general reference. If the dot does not correspond closely to your field of view you can choose an object and set your spotter there and simply adjust the dot to cover the object or approximate field of view.

I am looking for a spotting scope to use at the range. Are the optics on this scope clear enough to view a target at 300 yards and identify a bullet hole?

Asked by: BillYYC
Hello, You will be able to see the bullet holes at 300 yards, assuming they are .30 caliber or larger. At those distances steel would be a bit more forgiving on the eyes and the sound it makes provides instant feedback.

I have a spare Vortex venom laying around. Will other red dots fit on the spotting scope or will only Burris Fastfires fit?

Asked by: Shift
Yes, the Venom fits PERFECTLY in this scope's cut-outs. I received my new Burris Signature Spotting scope yesterday and immediately took the Vortex Venom red-dot off of my Canik pistol (the Canik will be getting a Holosun in it's place). The Venom fits this spotter with a perfect fit. No gaps in-between the Venom and the spotter. Even the front curved) portion of the Venom fits perfectly in the front, curved portion of the spotter. If not for the words Vortex Venom on the red dot, you'd think it was made specifically for use with this Burris spotter. The fit is just that perfect. I mounted my Venom to the right side of the scope, making the Venom's brightness levels accessible from above.

Can this scope have a D-SLR camera (such as a Pentax K-II) mounted to it via a t-adapter? I see absolutely about digiscoping capability mentioned for this spotting scope.

Asked by: MrMister
Hello, The Signature HD spotter can definitely be adapted for photography. We have heard good feedback from customers using various mounting options. Most commonly those found for astronomy telescopes. Orion Telescopes makes a few different adapters.

What fastfire would you recommend for this scope? What advantage over the 2 would the model 3 be in regards to using it in the manor. What MOA would be best? Also will the case fit on the scope with the fastfire mounted?

Asked by: Shift
For the spotter, it really doesn't matter which one. Any Fastfire will do.
