NEW: Now available in a non-illuminated model (#201034) for less complexity and cost-savings.

This is serious, state-of-the-art technology for competitive shooters and tactical operators.

XTR II 3-15x50 mm riflescope features a 5-times zoom system and 25% thicker tube construction than the original XTR™ Riflescope.

The front focal plane reticle design on this and all high-magnification XTR II riflescopes allows the reticle size to increase or decrease as magnification is increased or decreased. Trajectory compensation is always correct and proportional for the selected power setting. This reticle design is also called first focal plane or FFP.

It has dimensionally-matched precision adjustment knobs and Zero Click Stop technology.

High-performance optics offer Hi-Lume® multi-coated lenses. The lenses optimize target resolution, contrast, and low-light performance.

All hand-fitted internal assemblies are triple spring-tensioned for absolute shockproofing, even under severe recoil. They are vibration resistant, even on extended vehicular patrols.

The riflescope outdelivers its modest price tag. And it’s protected forever by the Burris Forever Warranty™.

XTR II™ Riflescope 3-15x50mm is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely awesome optic!! Bought the 3-15x50 xtrii for competition gas gun in 6.5 creedmoor. Came set to a 20 moa rise mount. Was dead zero after 5 shots. Shot from 100 yards to 700 yards. Tracking was right on the money. Tested mils at 100 all tracked straight up 3.6 in at a time. As soon as the 5-25x50 is available I will be buying one. Quality is on par with my steiner t5xi. Both are terrific for moderate money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy, and great glass Bought this a month ago and mounted it on a 6.5 creed hunting rifle. The clarity is terrific, clear at distances and up to the highest magnification. The turrets click with authority and the reticle is easy to learn.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from bought used, transferable warranty, It's actually a 3-12x50mm, was on a used savage 110 BA 338 lapua, I purchased, nice scope, great features, elevation, knobs, retical is great. The illumination didn't work, transferable warranty which is great. I guess I am asking for alot but if burris paid for shipping both ways I would be happier. Now to see how long a wait . Overall scope is very nice!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke in less than a week Probably my last purchase. Scope illumination knob stopped working after owning it for less than a week. Never zeroed. Eye piece lens cap that came with the scope was damaged and missing the flip cap. This scope was not cheap in price $1199. Worse than Walmart quality clearance section. Pending on warranty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best features for the money I purchased this one after the good luck i had with the 2-10X42 . That i put on my custom XP100 .20 Vartarg . Scope worked flawless , took 49 woodchucks with it . Longest being 445 yds . Simply love it .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality built scope, very clear glass. Turret clicks are crisp and zero stops on elevation and windage are great and easy to set. The glass is very clear in my opinion, cut glare and pick up light amazingly well at dusk. FFP is great.

Is the lens system achromatic or apochromatic? What are the lens coatings inside and out? Just MgF2 or something else? Antis scratch or hydrophobic coatings on the external glass?

Asked by: Dev L
Glass is apochromatic in Objective and Eyepiece lenses. Lenses are index-matched anti-reflection coated. Hi-Lume coatings on exterior surfaces are scratch-resistant.

what is 5 times zoom ?

Asked by: hickory bunch
It refers to the span in magnification power. For example, on the 3-15x50 model, the low power magnification is 3x and the high power magnification is 15x. If you take 15 divided by 3 you get 5.

I have just received my new XTR II 3x-15x-50, and read over the supplied instructions, researching online as much as possible, I cannot see how to install the battery supplied for the illuminated reticle to function. Any help would greatly appreciated.

Asked by: macndad513
Read bottom of page 5 on download, unscrew  battery cap on rotary switch.  Just showed this to a coworker who purchased this scope.  Good choice!
