Handgun Scope 2-7x32mm is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely Reliable I have four of these scopes mounted on some tough kickers like a T/C Contender in 358 JDJ and a T/C Encore in 30/06. Despite the knocks of travel and recoil, these scopes hold their zero.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great scope I bought the scope 5 years ago, I mounted it on my 460 S&W. Handles the recoil great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best revolver scope for big guns I have to be honest, I like Nikon when it comes to scopes. But unfortunately Nikons pistol scopes did not impress me. I did extensive research on all pistol scopes. The Burris 2x-7-32 plex. Was definitely what I wanted mounted on my Ruger Super Redhawk 44mag. The scope can withstand the massive recoil from your bigger caliber guns ad still hold zero. Plus it comes pretty dang close as far as matching the stainless color of your revolvers. Thank you Burris for a great scope for heavy duty revolvers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great customer service Just wanted to say thank you for great customer service. I was able to send my original scope with lock up rings and you quickly check it our and determined a replacement was the best option. Thanks Iove my new scope

Rated 5 out of 5 by from one tough scope I bought this 2x7 32mm handgun scope year ago and mounted it on my smith and wesson 460xvr. I can see target very well at 100yds and I am able to shoot 1.5" groups with it. the clarity is exceptional. I have had other brand scopes on this gun before and the recoil manages to destroy them. so far I have run150 round of 460 ammo thru this gun and scope has stayed clear. Any problems I have had with other Burris scopes, customer service has always took care of the problem including replacing my rifle scope. The forever warranty is real.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Scope for the Money Since I read various reviews stating that their Burris 2-7X Ballistic Plex Posi-Lock was blurry right out of the box I want to say that I was looking for that as soon as I mounted mine but it’s crystal clear. At 2 power or 7 power, looking at something 20 yards away or 200 yards away (on a cloudy day as it is today) all the lines in the bark of the trees are clear and well defined. I am impressed with the clarity and like it better than my previous Bushnell 2 power scope. I do agree that once the power exceeds 3 it doesn’t have enough eye relief for a handgun. That doesn’t bother me as I had planned on hunting (deer) with it set on 2 power (3 at the most, depending on the terrain) and only using the 7 power to look ‘over yonder’ if I couldn’t make something out that could be a deer or just a stump or a boulder. If you are planning on mounting this on a high powered handgun with the intention of using the higher magnifications for long distance shooting this scope won’t work for you. I have it on my Magnum Research BFR .454 Casull and I don’t want to be pulling the trigger without my arms fully extended, but at the higher magnifications in order to see anything through it you have to hold it much farther back to your face (OK for scouting, not OK for recoil). It didn’t come with lens caps, like my Bushnell did, but I called Customer Service and they sent me a pair. For what it’s worth I used the Burris Signature Zee rings to mount it, and I love the idea of the inserts and will likely use these rings for all my future scope mounts. For the price I love it. Leupold doesn’t have handgun scopes with a ballistic plex reticle so they weren’t an option for me. If they did I may have gone with one of theirs, but since they didn’t I saved $150 or so and I’m very happy with the Burris.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mounted on my.460 smith & wesson performance center handgun with Burris signature rings. Bore sighted it at the fifty yard bench. Fired two shots to get it in the bullseye. Evey shot after that. I could not keep it zeroed it was all over the place. Very disappointed especially when deer season was two weeks away. I'll be shipping it back for warranty work. I may get it back in six to eight weeks. I should of spent a couple of hundred more an went with a Leopold, then at least the .460 would have been going to the U.P. of Michigan on this hunting trip.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from had to send it back I bought this handgun scope a couple months ago and had to send it back it's 2x7x32. The power ring is stuck it won't let me fine tune it to zero and when I get close u t does not hold zero. So hopefully they fix it I will update this review when I get the scope back which will be in about 6 weeks.

I'm considering a purchase of a new handgun scope for my 460 Smith and Wesson. I've read that several people have had problems with the scopes not being able to handle the heavy recoil. I'm wondering if this problem has been fixed

Asked by: Aws6275
I mounted mine on a Smith & Wesson Performance center XVR 460 15 inch barrel. I've sent back 2 times. This time I was told it can't be fixed. I shot 1 box each time before it broke. I love the scope but they don't make it any more.

I recently purchase a Burris 2-7x32 handgun scope to use on a T/C long range pistol. I was wondering if it is possible to have target type adjustment knobs installed on this scope?

Asked by: Arnie
Target knobs are not available for handgun scopes.

I'm looking at the 200298 scope but the specs has conflicting info on the site. I'm wanting the ballistic plex reticle with the nickle finish. Also wondering what the finish is. Thank you

Asked by: Adam Peterson
We do not offer a handgun scope with both nickle finish *and* a ballistic plex reticle. #200298 is Nickel finish with a Plex reticle. #200279 would be Matte black with a Ballistic Plex reticle.

Can I get this scope with ballistic plex in nickel finish? Cabela's and Midway only have it with plex.

Asked by: Bigfoot
Unfortunately, the Handgun scope is not available with both Ballistic Plex and a nickel finish. If you like, a Plex-equipped Nickel-finish Handgun scope could be fitted with a Ballistic Plex reticle for $60 at our facility.

I bought your silver 2-7X32mm handgun scope and intend to mount it on a Ruger Takedown Charger .22LR that has a factory Picatinney rail attached to the receiver. What rings would you recommend for my application? Thank You, Ken Niederer

Asked by: Kenneth
The rail that comes with the Ruger 10-22 series firearms is of a combination design that will allow all of our Zee or Rimfire/Airgun rings to be attached to it. Medium height should be fine
